Only Their Books

I have noticed that on the Living Stream Website, there are only books sold by Witness Lee and Watchman Nee. I also notices that they sell the Lord's Recovery Version of the bible. I was wondering if the Local Churches use any other books besides these books? It seems to me that they only focus on Witness Lee and Watchman Nee.

Modalist

I have read from other website and have heard that the Local Church are modalists. The Webster's Unabridged Dictionary says that a modalist is - One who regards Father, Son, and Spirit as modes of being, and not as persons, thus denying personal distinction in the Trinity. Are the people in the Local Church modalist or is this another accusation from other people.

Denominations

I have read recently that the Local Churches believe that Christians should not denominate themselves. They say that churches that denominate themselves are the works of Satan. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Lawsuits

I have noticed that there are some were some lawsuits that the Local Church has been involved in. I was wondering if people know what exactly the Local Church had to bring lawsuits against other people? I will research more about this, but I do want to hear any opinions about these lawsuits.

Lord's Recovery Bible

I have been researching some more about the Local Church. I have noticed that they have their own version of the bible. I was wondering this church has their own bible and why not the King James Version or the New International Versions of the bible are not sufficient for reading the bible.

No Christmas?

Researching more about the Local Churches, I found that they do not celebrate Christmas. Does this mean that they do celebrate Christ's birth or take part in exchanging gifts? Can anyone help explain this to me?

Converasations

I have talked with some people in the Local Churches and they keep telling me that all the things that are listed on the Internet about them is false. I see that there is alot of negative writings about these people and they say that everything that is written about them is false. That when people write about them they are saying lies and are misunderstanding them about their faith. Any thought on this matter?
